For the Love of God, People, It's

LIE down.

Please stop saying "I am going to lay down".

It's lie down, mofo. Lie.

funny! i hate it when people say " i will bring you to work tomorrow." What happened to "take"? bring and take do not mean the same thing!

Kim,

For you, madam, I will try.

Ms.Mac,

Yes, of course you are right. That one bugs me, too. But somehow I blame the English for this one!
(I think people don't get that when they are saying something that sounds like "should of" what they really mean is "should've".)

Tinker,

"Bring you to work" sounds really bad. Let's sum up...

Anyhoo, I should of said I will bring you to work today.

Thanks grrrrls (who's cringing?) for the comments!

w00t: I hate this "word" and want to kick anyone who uses it.

But maybe I should just let sleeping dogs lay - er - lie.

Nicolette,

Here's how out of it I am: I have never even heard the word "woot"! Is it woo (like woohoo) with a t? Please enlighten me!

When one says "lay" instead of "lie" I just assume he/she is an inanimate object and concern myself no further... Or is it farther? Further, Farther, Nurther, Narther! Lets call the whole thing OFF!
